BEFORE TRAINING / COMPETITION (30-45 minutes before event)
  • ½ - 1 PVM Energy Bar + 250ml cold water
DURING TRAINING / COMPETITION (for each hour of exercise)
  • ½ -1 PVM Energy bar + 500ml Water OR
  • ½ -1 PVM Energy bar + 250ml Octane 4.0/ Octane XTR + 250ml Water
The maximum amount of carbohydrates the body can oxidise during exercise is +/- 1g per minute. Therefore the general recommended intake of carbohydrate intake during exercise is 30-60g/hour. Be sure not to exceed the upper limit. Ensure to stay hydrated. Fluid intake for adults should be between 400ml – 900ml per hour depending on age, gender, heat, humidity and intensity levels. Younger kids generally require less fluid. Remember that fluid intake in excess can inhibit performance and in extreme cases be detrimental
AFTER TRAINING / COMPETITION(within 15-30minutes)
  • ½ - 1 PVM Energy bar + Water/ Re-Ignite/ Reactor

Important Note:
Lactose intolerance varies from person to person and is concentration-dependent. In our experience, the majority of people who suffer from lactose intolerance will not adversely be affected by the use of PVM Energy Bars.
